Currently, the court sent the alleged criminal to 3 days of police judicial custody. A case was also registered against another person in this case. Currently, his arrest is pending. A youth named Sagar fell ill a few days ago in Mohalla Shankarpura located in Ward No. 13. The family admitted him to the hospital for treatment. The young man died during treatment. It is alleged that YouTuber Ramesh Bahl reached the said locality. There he interviewed the victim’s family. It is alleged that later Bahl tells in that interview that drugs are openly sold in this locality. The young man died due to a drug overdose. This video became very popular on social media. The team meets the victim’s family. The victim’s family tells the police in writing that their son does not take drugs at all. Death occurred due to illness. Similarly, Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of the said locality and the local ward councilor gave their statement in writing that no drugs are sold here. This video was uploaded on social media with the intention of deliberately defaming. After recording the statement, the police registered a case against Ramesh Bahl and another person in the Civil Lines police station under the IT Act and other sections.
