The woman’s spine broke after falling from the third floor of Friends Guest House in Raikot. The woman had rented a room in the hotel with her male friend. Now it has not been revealed whether the male friend pushed her or she tried to commit suicide.
Guest house owner Chamkaur Singh said that the woman had reached the guest house with her male friend at 11:30 pm. After about one and a half hours, the woman fell down from the third floor. Her male friend took her to Simrat Hospital in Raikot on a bike. Hospital manager Shamshad Ali said that a fracture was found in the woman’s spine, which needed immediate surgery. After this, the male friend took the woman to a hospital in Ludhiana.
In-charge of Police Station City Raikot, Amarjeet Singh said that as soon as the matter came to light, the guest house owner Chamkaur Singh was questioned. The woman’s statement could not be taken yet and Rupinder Singh is also absconding. Legal action will be taken as per the statement of the woman and her family members. The documents of the guest house are also being checked.
