But, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the ruling government in Punjab province, issued a strange decree increasing the registration fees of the said cooperative societies from Rs 600 to Rs 1-20 lakh. The general public is feeling cheated by the government’s decision. The matter is related to the cooperative societies , hence Sahakar Bharti has even opened a front against the decision of the state government. He has clearly warned the Bhagwant Mann government of the state that if the decision is not withdrawn soon, the struggle will be intensified in the entire Punjab. Not only this, he also appealed to the farmer organizations, general public and especially the youth brigade to extend their support in this campaign.
It is being said that the opposition has also expressed strong opposition to the government’s decision. It is learned that the opposition may surround the government in the special session. Sahakari Bharti Sangathan chief Shankar Dutt Tiwari expressed strong protest against the Nadir Shahi decision of the government. Issuing a release, it said that the government did not think twice before taking the decision. The government completely ignored the youth of the state who were thinking of self-reliance.
Increasing the registration fee from Rs 600 to Rs 20 lakh, to some extent reflects the thinking of the government as per the order given by Delhi Darbar. Perhaps, Bhagwant Mann should not forget that this is Punjab. The people of Punjab take their own decisions. If the order is not liked then the people of the state have the courage to uproot it. The Mann government will have to reconsider this decision once again. Warned that if the government does not show seriousness in withdrawing the decision then it will not step back even from a fierce struggle. The special thing is that the said committees prove to be very effective for the youth to move forward in the future. In this they are encouraged to be self-reliant. Not only this, farmers and the poor class get every kind of facility. But, the government’s order to increase the registration fees can cause a huge loss to this campaign.
