Under this, the police has now started work on the project of installing CCTV cameras equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The project will be completed by April next year. The project will proceed with the cooperation of a private company, while the police will work as the nodal agency in it. If the project is successful, it will be implemented in other police related projects also. Many dreaded prisoners and gangsters are lodged in the jails of the state. Keeping an eye on them is no less than a challenge for the police.

CCTV cameras are already installed in the jails of the state. However, due to the recent activities, it has now been decided to install cameras equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The most special thing about them is that in normal cameras, the recording gets spoiled when there is light at night, whereas these cameras work according to the movement. Can recognize vehicle numbers and faces instantly and is also capable of giving alerts on the phone. Apart from this, movement is capable of detection.
