The Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers guarding the border were seriously accused of creating a ruckus by drinking alcohol in a hotel. The case is being reported of Hotel Booster located in Bathinda Highway of Tarn Taran district of Punjab. There were about 5 soldiers who created this ruckus. The incident has been captured on CCTV. Police reached the spot and started an investigation. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening at around quarter to four. At present, the hotel staff and owner are quite scared. He demanded from the administration that legal and departmental action should be taken against all the soldiers involved in this incident. These people spoiled the atmosphere of the hotel, hence they should not be spared at all.
Gopal, a staff member working in the hotel, said that he has been working in the hotel for the last 2 years. No one ever created a ruckus in the hotel. Around 3 pm, BSF vehicle number MH 24 D-7656 from Bathinda stopped at the hotel parking lot. Five soldiers came down one by one. Alleged that everyone was drunk. Ordered them chicken, roti and other items. After dinner his bill was around Rs 1400. In a drunken state, he started fighting with a hotel member. Made a loud noise. He told the hotel member whether he is a Bihari or a brother from UP, on this the hotel member remained silent and listened to him. After getting hold of only 800 rupees, they got scammed. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. The sound of their commotion and misbehavior has also been captured.
When the hotel operator came to know about the matter, he reached the spot. Sadar police station was informed about the incident. Station in-charge SHO Gurpreet Singh started investigating the case.
On the other hand, the police officer said that till now no written complaint has been received regarding the matter. The matter was investigated twice. The hotel operator does not have any evidence to prove that the BSF soldiers created a ruckus, which could prove that it was the sentence itself that created the ruckus. Those people don’t know anything about him.
