Robbers who came as customers to a grocery shop in Fazilka ran away after looting thousands of rupees. It is being told that the robbers who came on the pretext of buying school copies first bought two copies. Then they asked for Thumbs Up and distracted the shopkeeper and took away the cash bag from behind. The police has been informed about the matter.
Giving information, Nishant Agarwal told that his father Shyamlal Agarwal runs a grocery shop in Gali Sharandas. Today two youths came on a motorcycle. As soon as they came, they asked for school copies. After buying two copies, they gave money. After which Shyamlal Agarwal took out his cash bag and returned the remaining money to them.
Seeing the cash, they asked for Thumbs Up to drink. As soon as the shopkeeper went inside to take the Thumbs Up, the bike riders from behind picked up the bag of cash and fled. Nishant Agarwal says that there was about 15 to 20 thousand cash and FD papers of 8 to 10 lakhs in the bag. At present, information has been given to the police. The police has started investigating the matter.
