Police has arrested 2 criminals in the incident of firing on Sindhi Bakery. Criminals have made many revelations during police interrogation. Criminals came to attack twice in 1 hour. When they failed the first time, they came again to attack after 45 minutes. Sindhi Bakery owner’s son Naveen got injured in the firing. Gangster Davinderpal Gopi Lahoria’s name came up in this case.
Criminals wanted to threaten the bakery owner’s son
Gopi got this incident executed while sitting in Canada. According to sources, both the robbers caught during the police encounter in Moga have revealed that they did not want to kill the bakery owner’s son, they had come only to threaten him. Gopi Lahoria was in touch with them from Canada. He was guiding them on call as to how to commit the crime. Gopi Lahoria got these criminals illegal weapons from Moga which the robbers used in the crime. Gangster Jagmeet Singh alias Meeta had fired at Sindhi Bakery. Police recovered a 32 bore pistol along with magazine from the criminal. A live cartridge was also recovered from the chamber of the pistol. The second robber has been named as Vikas Kumar alias Kasa resident of Pahad Singh Chowk. Three cases each are registered against both the criminals in Faridkot and Moga.
At present, gangster Jagmeet Singh is admitted in Faridkot hospital. Ludhiana police will soon bring Jagmeet and Vikas on production warrant. It has been learned that there were many other businessmen in the list of robbers. Police is investigating this matter thoroughly.
