The CIA staff police team of Tarn Taran has arrested a member of the gang that orders foreign weapons through drones from Pakistan across the border. Three foreign pistols ordered from Pakistan through drones were recovered from him. The seized weapons included two Australia made Glock pistols and one UK made 32 bore Webley Ed Scott pistol.
The arrested person has been identified as Nirvel Singh, a resident of Thatthian village of Jandiala Guru police station. The police have registered a case against the accused and started investigation. SSP Gaurav Tura said that a few days ago the police had arrested two members of the gang, Harpreet Singh and Lovepreet Singh, who used to order and supply illegal foreign weapons from across the Pakistan border with the help of drones.
4 Glocks and 4 lakh 80 thousand drug minis were also recovered from them. During the remand, Narvel Singh was arrested and three foreign pistols were recovered from him after his interrogation. Along with this, a case was registered and investigation was started.
