The courage of the criminals has increased so much that it can be guessed from the fact that recently they tried to rob lakhs of rupees from a big gravel businessman and loot a petrol pump. They were successful in carrying out the theft of lakhs of rupees in the gravel factory, while they failed to snatch cash worth lakhs from the petrol pump employee. The bravery of the employee came to the fore behind this, who stood in front of the perpetrators of the crime and bravely confronted them, forcing them to run away empty handed. Surprisingly, instead of praising the employee, the petrol operator reprimanded him. At present, the video of the incident is being circulated very fast on social media. The police is assuring to investigate. The incident is said to have taken place on December 16 at 6 pm. In some way or the other, questions are being raised on the police functioning regarding these incidents. The police is not promising to reach any facts by promising to investigate. The incident is being reported at the petrol pump of a senior Congress leader located near Global College on Pathankot-Amritsar Highway.
According to the information, on December 10, at 6:15 pm, three youths on a bike stop at the petrol pump of a senior Congress leader to fill petrol. They ask the pump employee to fill petrol for around 100 rupees. When he fills petrol in the bike, the third (unknown criminal) along with the driver takes out a pistol and tries to snatch the cash by showing it, but the employee confronts them with full bravery, after which all of them (criminals) escape on the bike. Their cowardly act has been captured in CCTV. On receiving information, the police reaches the spot. The police took the CCTV footage in their possession. At present, the police has not found any clue. The incident is said to have taken place on 16 December. It has been found out that the miscreants’ bike did not have a number plate. This makes it clear that the bike could also be stolen. For now, all this will be clear only when the police arrest these miscreants.
It has also been found out that when the miscreants’ plan did not succeed here, they raided a gravel factory located at a distance of 3 kilometers at 10-11 pm late at night. It has been found out that no one was present there at that time. Therefore, they stole cash worth lakhs from there. Sources have revealed that the factory owner is a very big personality of Punjab. He has a lot of political and administrative reach, so the police formed a special team to trace this theft incident. The team is investigating from every aspect. Police sources have also got a hint that the location of some suspected miscreants who carried out the incident has also been found out. For now, they have not been arrested yet. A source from the investigation team said that the police had gone to raid their location but they fled as they had got a hint of the police team.

The investigation team has found a big proof that the perpetrators of this crime are associated with a robbery gang. In the preliminary investigation, it is coming out that many cases have been registered against them in the past. In a way, these people belong to a criminal background. Evidence of drug addiction has also been found. A senior police officer claimed that he is very close to catching this gang, soon this gang can be exposed and other unsolved cases can also be solved. Because, they have found evidence of this also in the investigation.

It is said that during the attempt to snatch cash at the petrol pump, one of the workers here, Ranjat, had confronted the miscreants with full courage. He immediately understood their intentions and forced them to run away by pushing them. However, one of the goons tried to scare him by showing a pistol. But, he (the employee) fought bravely with them without caring for his life. Since, it has been found out that the petrol pump belongs to a Congress leader, he rebuked the employee instead of praising his bravery. In such a situation, such operators will have to understand that they should never discriminate against their employees, because these people are the pride of the petrol pump. Even with a low salary, they jump to face any challenge without caring for their lives. Our request to all the petrol pump operators is that they should respect these brave employees from the heart and the respect and honour they deserve should be given to them in full.
