21 police stations, a squad of more than 900 police officers and employees, 120 anti-riot police personnel, 16 SWAT jawans were seen raiding every area of Amritsar on Sunday. Department sources said that some criminals were detained. A case was registered against 2 for selling China thread. About 100 China threads (banned Gattu) were recovered from them. Apart from this, suspicious vehicles were searched. Challans were also issued to many. Police did not confirm how many people were detained or cases were registered. A case was registered against 2 people of the city who were selling China thread. Police confirmed the arrest. It is being told that 100 Gattu were recovered from the alleged criminals.
