The Border Security Force (BSF) has arrested a Pakistani citizen due to suspicious activities on the India-Pakistan international border. This arrest has been made from Border Out Post (BOP) Mullakot of Amritsar sector.The Pakistani caught by the BSF has been identified as Mohammad Zaid, who is said to be a resident of Hakima Wala village of Pakistan.
BSF jawans saw a person roaming suspiciously across the border during patrolling. When he was questioned, he was unable to give a satisfactory answer. On this, the jawans took immediate action and arrested him and searched him. After the arrest, BSF officials are interrogating Mohammad Zaid to find out whether he crossed the border by mistake or was trying to infiltrate India under some conspiracy.After the incident, security has been tightened on the border. Along with BSF, other intelligence agencies have also started investigating the matter.
