After investigating the matter, the police have arrested two accused.
The matter is of Moga, Punjab. Here a WhatsApp group named ‘Waaris Punjab De’, the group chat was going viral on social media. In which there was a discussion about killing Union Minister Ravneet Bittu and Home Minister Amit Shah. This chat in the group was happening in Punjabi. As soon as this chat reached the police, Moga Cyber Police Station immediately started investigating it. After investigation, the police have registered a case against 20 to 25 people associated with the group and arrested two accused. One of the arrested accused is from Moga and the other is from Khanna. However, the police have not yet made public the names of the arrested accused.
DIG Faridkot Range Ashwani Kapoor said that a WhatsApp chat was going viral on social media yesterday, in which there was a discussion about killing Union Minister Ranjit Bittu and Home Minister Amit Shah. Taking action on this, Moga police has arrested two accused. At the same time, a case has been registered under UAPA Act against 20 to 25 people associated with this WhatsApp group.
