The 93rd birth anniversary of martyr Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev is being celebrated on 23rd. Imtiaz Rashid Qureshi, chairman of Pakistan’s Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation, sought foolproof protection from the Lahore High Court. This anniversary will be celebrated in Lahore High Court. Let us tell you that every year a program is organized in Pakistan in the memory of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at Bhagat Singh Chowk (Shadman), Lahore. During this period, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Jews, Parsis and people from the Indian subcontinent take part in huge demonstrations. Liberal people gather at the same intersection and pay tribute to him. The workers of Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation have been gathering at this intersection for the last 14 years and organizing the memorial program.
Recently, Chairman of Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation Pakistan, Imtiaz Rashid Qureshi directly contacted the law enforcement agencies demanding security, but these agencies did not respond. Now the door of Lahore High Court was knocked. In the petition, Chief Secretary of Punjab Government, Home Secretary, CCPO Lahore, Deputy Commissioner, IG Punjab Police, Special Branch and SHO Shadman Lahore have been made important parties. The previous order of the Lahore High Court has also been submitted in the form of a memorandum, requesting the court to provide foolproof security in relation to the event.
