After the bomb blast outside the closed police post on Fatehgarh Churian Road in Amritsar, Punjab on Monday night, the performance of the police is once again under question. However, the police officers are busy investigating the matter and it is also being said that this is not a grenade attack. The lever of the grenade has been recovered from the place where the attack took place. In such a situation, the official statement of the police and the reality of the spot are completely different. Even after 24 hours of the incident, no terrorist organization has taken responsibility for it. On the other hand, the police officers are also unable to speak openly on this matter. They are just citing investigation. The surprising thing is that 11 bomb blasts have taken place in Punjab in the last 70 days.
After the blast outside the police post, the nearby CCTVs have also been searched. However, nothing could be found out due to most of the cameras installed around the post being out of order. But on the bypass itself, two suspicious people riding a bike have been seen in a camera installed ahead of Khanna Paper Mill. They were running away from there very fast. The forensic team has also investigated the spot. But till now no significant success has been achieved.
Even though the police officers are hiding the truth of the attack on the post, but to avoid it becoming a reason for laughter among the people, the blockade in the city has also been increased continuously. Apart from this, raids have been conducted at various places by forming different police teams since last night, but till now the police have come up empty handed.
