Bhagwant Mann government of the state has failed completely… law and order situation is bad—Famous social worker Inderjit Singh

CM BHAGWANT MANN

Senior journalist, Amritsar.

Famous social worker of the state Inderjit Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of the state has proved to be a complete failure. The death of Narinder Singh of Bathinda in police custody raises a big question on the law and order of the state government. The shooting of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) councilor Harjinder Singh in broad daylight in Chhaherta, Amritsar, these signs point towards the failure of the government. The smuggling of illegal arms in the state, the criminals having illegal arms also raise big questions on the functioning of the government. Incidents of firing in the state have now become a common thing. The people of Punjab are not safe at all. The future youth of Punjab are moving towards other states or abroad. Business has also come to an end completely. Inderjit Singh was addressing a press conference on Monday.

Social worker Indrajit while giving information to the journalists said that even in dreams the people of the state had never imagined that the AAP government would prove to be a total failure. The people of Punjab voted heavily in the assembly elections (2022) trusting them. They hoped that this party would build the future of the people of the state after coming to power. But, this did not happen at all. The condition of law and order has deteriorated so much that bullets are fired every second or third day in the state. Instead of catching the perpetrators of the crime, the state government diverts the attention of the public towards some other issue, so that, people cannot question the government. But, this misunderstanding is not going to last long, because, the people of the state understand everything that who is right and who is wrong. They only answer silently during the voting. If elections are held today, then AAP’s defeat is absolutely certain, because, people have become very fed up. The Bhagwant Mann government has not fulfilled any promise.

Killing an innocent by electrocution, what kind of law is this?

Social worker Inderjit Singh said that recently innocent Narinder Singh of Bathinda was taken into custody by the CIA staff in suspicious condition. Then later he was given third degree. Not only this, he was killed by electrocution. To hide their mistake, the police made an excuse of road accident. After the protest of the family, a doctors’ investigation committee conducted the postmortem, in which it became clear that he was killed by electrocution. Because, there were many such wounds on the body which indicated that the police had behaved very inhumanly with the deceased. Bhagwant Mann government has also been criticized a lot regarding this matter. Whereas, to divert attention from this issue, the government is presenting the war against drugs campaign in front of the public by exaggerating it. But, the public has seen all the wrong deeds of the government. Just waiting for the government to answer.

Opposition also unhappy

Inderjit Singh said that the present government has proved to be completely useless as compared to the previous government. During their rule, such incidents used to happen very rarely. The law and order was perfect. People could roam around fearlessly. They were not afraid of anything. The police used to listen to the people properly. No one had to face any trouble. Now the circumstances are completely adverse. If the public goes to the police station, their complaint is ignored. The opposition is also unhappy with the government’s failure. If they speak against the government, the Chief Minister of the state gets legal action taken against them. Like it was done against Congress opposition leader Pratap Singh Bajwa recently. However, Bajwa got relief from the High Court.
