The Anti Gangster Task Force of Punjab Police has arrested gangster Jassa Burj and his three henchmen in a joint operation with Bathinda Police. The said accused used to work for the gangster Jassa Burj gang. The said accused have been arrested on the basis of secret information. Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav has shared information about the whole case.

The police have taken the three accused, including the kingpin Jaspreet Singh alias Jassa Burj, on remand. All the accused were named in about 11 criminal cases including arms smuggling, snatching and kidnapping. Jaspreet Singh alias Jassa was the main accused in all the cases. Police have recovered 4 pistols (32 bore) magazines and 11 live cartridges from the accused.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said – The accused have a big criminal record in the past. At present, interrogation of the accused is going on to find out where the arms nexus of the said accused was linked. After interrogation, the said weapon suppliers will also be arrested by the police.
