Advocate Himanshu Malik, the youngest councillor in Jagraon, Punjab, has accused AAP MLA Sarabjit Kaur Manuke of threatening him. Advocate Himanshu Malik had filed a petition in the Punjab Haryana High Court for his security. In the petition, councillor Himanshu Malik accused Aam Aadmi Party MLA Sarabjit Kaur Manuke of threatening him and also said that his life was in danger. On this, the High Court has ordered the police department to investigate the matter. Regarding the matter, the police has now started action by recording the statements of councillor Himanshu Malik along with other people.
Councillor Himanshu Malik said that he had won the council elections as an independent candidate. After this, he had given his support to Congress council chief Jatinderpal Rana. It is alleged that MLA Manuke wanted to make one of her favourites the council chief. Regarding this, AAP MLA Manuke wanted to get Himanshu on her side. When Himanshu did not stop supporting Jatinderpal Rana, the MLA took advantage of his power and harassed him mentally. A conspiracy was hatched to implicate him in a false case. The MLA threatened in front of the people that she would implicate councilor Himanshu in a false case and send him to jail. Himanshu had complained against the MLA to SSP Jagraon, but the police also did not take any action. After this he reached the High Court.
The High Court has ordered the police to investigate the matter and take action. After this, when the police asked Himanshu to present evidence regarding the matter, about 50 people recorded their statements against the MLA in the SSP office.Councilor Advocate Himanshu Malik told that MLA Sarabjit Kaur Manuke was harassing him since 2022. Along with stopping the work of his ward, the MLA also harassed him mentally.
In the year 1980, some land was given to the poor for living by the Panchayat of Kotha Radha, due to which the council later occupied that land. Recently, the council had issued notices to about 50 houses and ordered them to vacate the place. MLA Sarabjit Kaur Manuke had a rivalry with the councillor regarding this matter.
When the council issued notices to 50 houses, the MLA went to meet the people and told them that she will not let anything happen to the houses of the people and she is only against councillor Himanshu, due to which the councillor may have to be implicated in a false case and sent to jail. On hearing this, people turned against the MLA.
