Former Chief Minister of Delhi and National Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal is currently in Hoshiarpur, Punjab with his wife Sunita Kejriwal. In such a situation, there will be no reduction in his security. The former CM will have a full security convoy as before. Kejriwal’s Z plus security will remain intact. The Home Ministry has taken this decision after security review.

IB has inputs that Kejriwal is facing threat to his life from pro-Khalistan terrorist organizations. During Delhi elections, this input was also shared by Punjab Police with Home Ministry and Delhi Police. Even the deployment of security contingent of Punjab Police personnel for Kejriwal’s security had caused political uproar.

Meanwhile, AAP’s National Convenor went to Vipassana meditation camp in Hoshiarpur, Punjab from Thursday. As soon as Arvind Kejriwal went to Vipassana, Delhi Cabinet Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa reached Chandigarh. Sirsa targeted Kejriwal and said that the one who calls himself the owner of Delhi is no longer even a tenant. Delhi’s disaster has now reached Punjab.

Sirsa said that Kejriwal cannot live without a chair, that is why Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora has been declared a candidate in the by-election from Ludhiana West, so that he can reach Rajya Sabha from Punjab.

Sirsa said that after the Delhi elections, Kejriwal had made full preparations to remove CM Bhagwant Mann. Many MLAs had even supported him, but the MLAs did not agree on Kejriwal sitting on the chair of Punjab CM. On Kejriwal’s Vipassana, Sirsa said that seeing 50 vehicles and more than 100 security personnel in the convoy, it does not seem that he has come to meditate.
