The little scholars School, Shivalik City Kharar Mohali organized a Story telling competition for the students.
In Story Telling Competition, Kunwar Devansh veer stood first, Anaaya stood second while third prizes were given to kirat.
The competition was judged by Principal, Aashima, who after the completion of the competition
Appreciated the efforts put in by the teachers and parents for training the tiny tots.Ms. Aarti Coordinator and Ms. Navjit kaur, Sanchita, Bhawna were also present.
Principal Aashima also elaborated upon the benefits of storytelling. She said that storytelling strengthens brain development. Without text and pictures, storytelling teaches children how to listen deeply, visualize characters and remember a sequence of events. It not only supports literacy via listening to the rhythmic cadences, it can convey morals, values and wisdom. She encouraged the teachers to frequently take up such activities in order to build confidence amongst the students and learn actively.
