Amritpal Singh, MP from Khadoor Sahib, who is lodged in Dibrugarh jail in Assam, has received relief from an Amritsar court. The court has granted him permission to speak with his ailing grandmother via video call. Amritpal Singh’s lawyers filed a petition in this regard. After hearing the petition, Additional Sessions Judge Barinder Singh issued the ruling.
According to the court order, Amritpal Singh will be able to speak with his ailing grandmother via video call once within the next five days, starting today. During this time, he will be allowed to inquire about her health for a maximum of 10 minutes.
