A new twist has come in the case of removal of Punjab Police from the security of the judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court. In this case, the Punjab government has again knocked the door of the High Court against the order passed by the High Court. Along with this, it has demanded the withdrawal of that order. In this case, the court has verbally said that the matter will be considered in the next hearing. The next hearing is expected after Dussehra.
On behalf of Punjab Police, it has been argued in the court that such instructions have a very depressing effect on the police force of the state of Punjab. This order questions the commitment and dedication honesty of the police personnel. Who put themselves in danger as their duty and responsibility. So that the safety and protection of those who are to be appointed in the service can be ensured.
Nothing against the police in the order
There is nothing in the court record to show that the security personnel assigned to the current judge have failed to perform their duty. Or have failed to perform their duty. If this order is not withdrawn, it will become a part of the judicial record for generations. The reputation of Punjab Police will be irreparably damaged.

On September 22, Justice NS Shekhawat had reached the Golden Temple for darshan. During this time, ASI Ashwini, deployed for his security, was present with the escort vehicle. During this time, suddenly a person came and snatched the pistol of ASI. Before anyone could understand anything, he shot himself.
In a hurry, the people present in the security had secured the judge. As soon as this matter came to the media, the Punjab and Haryana High Court itself took cognizance. While hearing the case on October 1, orders were given to remove the Punjab Police personnel deployed for the security of the judge. Along with this, the responsibility of his security was asked to be handed over to Chandigarh and Haryana.
