8 villages of Patiala district in Punjab have been included in Mohali district. The government has issued a notification in this regard. As soon as these villages come in Mohali, people will get better facilities. Also, the price of their land will also increase. Because the circle rate of Mohali is very high.

A proposal was passed in the Punjab Assembly recently in this regard. The villages of Patiala which have been included in Mohali include Manakpur, Kheda Ganju, Urna, Changera, Ucha Kheda, Gurditpura, Haditpura and Lahla villages.

The process was going on in Punjab for two months

The demand for including these villages in Mohali was going on for a long time. After this, a letter was written to the Director of Land Records of Punjab regarding inclusion in Kapurthala. These villages included Manakpur, Kheda Ganju, Urna, Changera, Ucha Kheda, Gurditpura, Haditpura and Lahla villages.

In the letter, the department has argued that a letter has been received from the area’s MLA Neena Mittal in this regard. Keeping this demand in mind, the government has prepared a report on reorganization and written a letter to the Deputy Director (DC) of Land Records Jalandhar.
