Punjab Police Amritsar Police has won the hearts of the city residents by taking a very big action in the city. It is being told that the house of drug smuggler Sunny Gulla was demolished with the help of JCB. It is worth mentioning that this house is in the name of drug smuggler Sunny Gulla son of Bittu Singh, which is in the area under Tung Pai, Batala Road, Police Station Mohkampura.
Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that 8 cases have already been registered against Sunny Gulla in various police stations, which include 04 cases under NDPS Act, 2 cases of attempt to murder, 1 case under Jail Act and 1 case of fighting. He has been involved in drug smuggling for a long time and the police have registered cases against him in various police stations. He warned the drug smugglers that the person who destroys someone’s house, ruins people’s life, has no right to live in peace.
Punjab Police committed to eradicate drug menace
He said that Punjab Police is committed to eradicate drug menace and no person involved in the heinous act of drug smuggling will be spared. He said that the drug smugglers should either leave Punjab and go abroad or accept their mistake and give up this business in future.
He said that Sunny Gulla had got this illegal construction done, which was demolished today by Amritsar Corporation. Alam Vijay Singh DCP Law and Order, Dr. Sheetal Singh ACP East Amritsar and other police officers were also present on this occasion.
