The police here arrested 3 notorious criminals who carried out criminal activities. It is being told that the police of a police station and CIA Staff-3 played a major role in their arrest. Initial investigation revealed that the alleged criminals were in contact with Prabh Dasuwal sitting abroad (USA). Now they have recovered illegal weapons from many parts of India and have carried out many crimes. The arrested accused have been identified as Rohit, Sukhraj and Jugraj, who lived in a PG in Mohali.
..They used to work at the behest of this gangster
On the instructions of Prabh Dasuwal, these people used to do recce for murder and supply weapons to other criminal elements (shooters). They had also done recce of a person in Tarn Taran and were planning to carry out a major crime.
They had also murdered the Sarpanch
It has been revealed in the investigation that these accused had also played a role in the murder of Sarpanch Rajwinder Singh Talwandi in Patti area of Tarn Taran district. They had done the recce of the murder and supplied weapons to the shooters. At present, the police is interrogating these accused.
This was the team that traced the case
On the instructions of Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, action was taken under the leadership of DCP Alam Vijay Singh and ADCP Harkamal Kaur. In intensive interrogation, the police found out that the accused were supplying illegal weapons while working for gangster Prabh Dasuwal. The accused arrested in this case have been produced in the court and taken on remand. The police is now investigating their other associates and Prabh Dasuwal’s network.
