It has come to light that Babbar Khalsa International terrorist Happy Pasiyan and Gopi Navasharia’s hand is behind the bomb found in Amritsar’s Ajnala police station on Sunday. The police is not giving any official statement in this matter. But according to sources, RDX was used in this bomb. The bomb weighed about 800 grams. The CCTV footage of the police station has also surfaced, which the police is not making public.
According to sources in Punjab Police, a detonator was used with RDX. Which was installed near the door of the police station. So that, it could blast as soon as the door was opened. It was the luck of the staff present in the police station that the bomb did not explode due to some technical fault. Otherwise, there could have been a big loss. The police has also got some CCTV footage regarding this incident, which the police is not making public. All these facts make it clear that a terrorist conspiracy is working behind this incident.
Security agencies engaged in investigation
This incident has become a new challenge for the police and security agencies parallel to the Ajnala incident related to Amritpal Singh. Investigation was already underway into the attack by Khalistan supporters and separatist elements in the Ajnala case. This latest incident has further increased security concerns in the area. The police is investigating the matter thoroughly and efforts are being made to identify the accused on the basis of technical evidence.
The bomb was tied with khaki tape
According to sources associated with the Amritsar Rural Police, when a worker came out of the police station at 7 am on Sunday, he saw that a bowl was lying there, which was well closed by applying khaki colored tape. Some wires were coming out from inside the said bowl. It was a bomb-like thing, which was lying in the open. It was not covered with anything. The police investigation so far has revealed that the thing was placed there taking advantage of the fog late at night.
This police station was attacked in February 2023
In February 2023, pro-Khalistani Amritpal Singh and his supporters attacked the Ajnala police station for the release of their associate Lovepreet Toofan. During this, the protesters broke police barricades using swords, sticks and weapons and captured the police station.
During the demonstration, Guru Granth Sahib was used as a shield. Due to which the police refrained from using force, so that there would be no allegation of religious sacrilege. The incident started with a protest against the arrest of Lovepreet Toofan.
Amritpal’s supporters had earlier talked about holding a peaceful sit-in, but later they attacked the police. Due to this pressure, the police ordered the release of Lovepreet and withdrew the case against him.
Know who is Happy Pasian
Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pasian is a notorious gangster, currently based in the US. He works on the instructions of Pakistan-based Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) member Harvinder Singh alias Rinda and the ISI.
In September 2024, a grenade attack took place in Sector-10 of Chandigarh, for which Happy Pasiyan claimed responsibility on social media. Investigation revealed that the attack was carried out to avenge the encounter of four people in Nakodar, Punjab in 1986. In which the police officer of that time was targeted.
At the same time, several cases are also registered against his partner Gopi Nawanshaharia. Gopi had taken responsibility for killing the former Babbar Khalsa terrorist in Nawanshahr itself.
