Amritsar Police has succeeded in breaking the narco-terror module. In this episode, the police has arrested three terrorists of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) from Bihar. This success has been achieved after information from the interrogation of two smugglers arrested on March 7. All three terrorists are expected to reach Amritsar by tonight.
Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar informed that an FIR was registered in Cheharta police station on March 7. In which two smugglers Jobanpreet Singh and Gurbaksh Singh were arrested. During interrogation, it was found that three smugglers Karandeep Yadav, Mukesh Kumar Yadav and Sajan Singh are active in Khandwala area. When investigation was started about the accused, it became clear that the accused have links with Babbar Khalsa International and they were providing weapons and hand-grenades.
After which the police started tracing them and arrested all three accused from the area of Thana Kumar Khand in Madhepura district of Bihar. When the accused were caught, Nepali currency and mobiles were also seized from them. Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar giving information about the operation with police officials in Amritsar.
The police said that the accused were trying to flee abroad via Nepal. Nepali currency has been recovered from the accused. Two mobiles have also been seized from them, whose data has been washed. At present, their phones will be seized and sent for forensic investigation and efforts will be made to recover the data. At the same time, the accused are expected to reach Amritsar by tonight.
Accused Karandeep Yadav is the kingpin of this gang, who is a resident of Jhandpir Colony in Khandwala. He is only 21 years old and works as a shuttering worker. Mukesh Kumar Yadav and 24-year-old Sajan Singh are his associates. Mukesh is a DJ while Sajan works as a POP.
Karandeep Yadav is an operative of BKI who provides drugs and hand grenades. Recently, FIR number 11 was registered in Sarahali of Tarn Taran. In which two hand grenades and three pistols were recovered from the arrested accused. Karandeep had provided these weapons and hand grenades. After which he fled from Amritsar to Bihar.
