Punjab Police has arrested two operatives of Jeevan Fauji terror module, Vishal Masih and Lovepreet Singh alias Love, during an encounter in Ramdas area of Amritsar rural. In this operation, the police have recovered weapons and explosives from the possession of the accused.
Giving information about the incident, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the accused Vishal Masih and Lovepreet Singh alias Love were chased by the police, in response to which both the accused opened fire on the police personnel. In retaliation, the police arrested both the accused. The police have registered an FIR at police station Ramdas under the Explosives Act and UAPA. DGP said further investigation is going on to uncover the entire network of the accused and prevent any terrorist activity.
