Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Pandey will be seen in the lead roles in Dharma Production’s film Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh. The film will be released in theaters on April 18. The film is based on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Titled Kesari Chapter 2, the film is a biopic of C Shankaran Nair.
The makers of the film have announced that special pre-release screenings of ‘Kesari: Chapter 2’ will be held in five cities of the country. This screening will be held in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Chandigarh. If you want to watch the story of this freedom struggle before its release, then you have to register for it. The registration process will start from Monday, April 14.

The first Kesari film was released in 2019. That film depicted the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi, in which 21 Sikh soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army faced 10,000 Afridi and Orakzai Pashtun tribesmen. Kesari: Chapter 2 is based on the untold story of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
