Vikramveer Singh (Nihang Singh), who lives near the Shaheeda Sahib Gurudwara in Amritsar, had taken Amrit in his childhood. He serves the Guru day and night. He has strong faith in Gurdwara Shri Nodh Singh situated on Amritsar-Tarn Taran road. For many years, he has been serving him day and night at the feet of the Guru. According to him, by doing this one attains peace of mind. By doing Simran, Waheguru shows them the direction to do good work.
On the midnight of 31st August, after doing seva at Gurdwara Shri Nodh Singh, he left for home. On the way, two girls were also going home after serving the Guru. On the way, he was surrounded by two unknown bike riders. He (Nihang Singh) was noticed. Stopped there. He forbade unknown people from doing so. 2 unidentified people clashed with them. Nihang Singh bravely fought the unknown, regardless of his life. Told that he was badly injured, but did not give up. Eventually, 2 unknown people fled with their bike.
Setting an example of humanity, Nihang Singh left two girls safely at their homes. It was learned that Nihang Singh had injuries on his back and some parts of his body. At present, he is stable. On the other hand, no concrete action was taken by the police administration. People appealed to CM Bhagwant Mann that police patrolling should be increased in this area.
