Sister Lakshmikant Chawla, who always speaks openly against the government and administration, is the head of the management committee of which serious allegations have been made against 2 big members.Pandit Chaman lal, who made the allegations, himself has given his duty of storyteller and reading Ramayana in the temple for 45 years. 2 officials MEMBER’S have been accused of harassing Pandit chaman lal mentally as well as exploiting him financially. This was confirmed and revealed in the letter going viral on social media. He requested the PRESIDENT of Durgiana committee to take strict action against these officials so that he can get justice.
Pandit Chaman lal alleged that he was retired without reason 2 months ago. He was not given the dues of the past time. He has started suffering from blood pressure and mental problems. He alleged that all the Pandit staff is troubled because of 2 officials and they hire or fire them at their will, no one is there to question them. A scam is going on at a big level. If an investigation is done, the truth will come out. He alleged that if there is any loss of life or property of mine, then both the officials will be fully responsible for it.
According to Pandit Chaman lal, he was appointed as a Pandit in Durgiana temple 45 years ago. 22 years ago, 2 officials appointed him to narrate the story in front of the camera near the idol of Lord Shiv Ji. For this, an additional increase was made in the salary. For some time, the money was given properly. But, for the last few months, they have stopped giving money completely. On top of that, when he asked for the money, they started threatening him. When he did not get scared of these threats, he was retired before time. He pleaded for justice before them many times, but not even once was his plea heard. Now he has started getting mentally disturbed. He has become completely infected with diseases like blood pressure and diabetes.
It was alleged that like him, these two officials mentally harass other pandits too. The atmosphere inside has become very bad. No one is afraid to speak against them. If someone speaks, he is thrown out of the job. Pandit chaman lal alleged that these two officials are so smart and clever that no complaint even reaches the PRESIDENT. The complainant is threatened, due to which he withdraws his complaint. It was alleged that because of these two people, corruption in the management committee has reached its peak. No one is being investigated. If an investigation is done, I can say with confidence that a very big scam can come to the fore.

This will not be the first time that such a big serious allegation has been leveled against the Durgiana Committee. Actually, there are 2 officials in this committee, due to whom others have had to face embarrassment. Many times there have been allegations of misappropriation of money. But, the matter has been suppressed from time to time. Due to which the truth could never come out. Now a victim like Pandit Balram has given a new turn to this controversy by raising his voice. Now it has to be seen how sister Laxmikant Chawla, who claims to be the truth, takes this matter.

Because the management committee runs only with the offerings of the devotees. But, the irony is that some people take over this committee and keep oppressing the community like the Pandit, by taking the money from the offerings. Those who stand against these people are suppressed or shown the way out. Actually, all this is wrong in a way, in which taking corrective steps is the need of the hour.
Demand of educated people……….Committee should be authorized by the Governor.

Handling this management committee is not an easy task. It is very important that people with a clean image be a part of it. Especially, no person connected with politics should be a part of this management committee. There should be a committee authorized by the Governor of the state, as is being run at Shri Vaishno Devi. By doing this, complaints ranging from corruption to other complaints will be resolved as soon as possible.
