A case of rape of an eight-year-old child by a youth in the premises of Gurudwara Sahib has come to light. This incident is from Bhindi Saida village. The minor youth had gone to Gurudwara Sahib to pay obeisance. There, a youth named Raja Singh raped him. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and registered a case against the accused youth. At present, the accused has not been arrested.
The victim’s family told that on Friday evening, their son had gone to the Gurudwara to pay obeisance. When he returned home after about half an hour, he complained of pain in his stomach. When the family members examined him, the victim told that the accused had done dirty acts with him. Immediately after this, the police was informed. The police got the youth medically examined at the Civil Hospital and after that admitted him to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital.
The police said that a case has been registered against the accused Raja Singh and raids are being conducted to arrest him. The family alleges that the accused youth did so at the behest of Jasbir Singh, a resident of the village. Hence, the police have also registered the name of Jasbir Singh in the case.
