A very tragic accident has happened in Faridkot, Punjab. Here two cousins ​​died due to drowning in water. There is mourning in the area after this incident. Two minor cousins ​​died due to drowning in the Sarovar of Gurdwara Ramsar Sahib in village Khara of Kotkapura, Faridkot. The deceased children were identified as Lovepreet Singh son of Balwinder Singh and Harman Singh son of Chadhat Singh. Both were 8th class students.

In fact, there was a Paath Ka Bhog ceremony in Gurdwara Sahib on Tuesday regarding the death of a villager, in which a large number of villagers participated. Some children who came with their families to the ceremony were standing near the Sarovar of Gurdwara Sahib. Lovepreet Singh fell into the Sarovar due to slipping of his feet. To save him, Harman Singh also got into the Sarovar and he also drowned.

As soon as the incident came to light, there was a stir there. In a hurry, the villagers took both of them out and took them to Kotkapura hospital, where doctors declared both of them dead. Narinder Singh, a member of the management committee of Gurdwara Sahib, said that when the accident happened, Ardaas was going on. During this, on hearing the noise of the children, the villagers took out both the children drowned in the lake and took them to the hospital.

Both brothers were Kabaddi players

At the same time, the village sarpanch Jagtar Singh said that both the children were Kabaddi players and belonged to a very poor family. Along with the villagers, the Panchayat is also standing with the families. They will be helped in every possible way. Along with this, he has also demanded from the administration and the government to provide financial assistance to the families of the children
