The main accused in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and gangster Goldy Brar is in Canada. Despite being abroad, he continues to extort money from businessmen of Punjab. Gangsters threaten big businessmen, traders and rich people of Punjab through phone calls and demand extortion of crores of rupees from them. They also threaten to kill them if they do not pay the money. A similar new case has come to light in which extortion of crores of rupees has been demanded from a businessman of Ferozepur.
Gangster Goldy Brar and gangster Rinda, sitting in Canada, have threatened businessman Varinder Pal Singh on WhatsApp and demanded extortion of Rs 2 crore. On the complaint of the victim, Kulgarhi police station on Wednesday registered a case against the accused Goldy Brar and Rinda and started investigation.
Victim Varinder Pal Singh son of Amrik Singh resident of Pinar Enclave Moga Road, District Ferozepur told the police in his complaint that terrorist Satinder Singh alias Goldy Brar (currently living in Canada) and gangster Harinder Singh Rinda had sent him threatening SMSes some time ago and demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. When he did not pay, both of them have now sent a handwritten letter and demanded a ransom of Rs 2 crore.
Businessman Varinder Pal Singh told that accused Rinda has also threatened him by making a WhatsApp call. The victim had complained to the police in this regard. Kulgarhi police station has registered a case against Goldy Brar and Rinda.
It is worth mentioning that the Central Ministry had declared Goldy Brar a terrorist. He works for Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and is the right hand of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He came into the limelight after the murder of Punjabi singer Moosewala.
