One of the suspects involved in the murder of Maharashtra NCP leader Baba Siddiqui is 21-year-old Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar from Jalandhar, Punjab. A total of nine criminal cases are registered against Yasin Akhtar involved in this murder. Punjab Police has confirmed this.
Zeeshan Akhtar (21) is a resident of Shankar village in Jalandhar district. According to the police, 9 cases are registered against Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar alias Jesse alias Sikandar in various police stations. Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar has become a big criminal at a young age. His name is also associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Nakodar Deputy Superintendent of Police Sukhpal Singh said that Zeeshan Akhtar also has 2 criminal cases registered against him in Kaithal, Haryana. Akhtar was arrested in a criminal case in June 2022 and he came out of jail in June 2024. According to the police, he has not returned to his village after being released from jail.
The police suspect that Zeeshan Akhtar also has relations with gangster Vikram Barad abroad. Vikram Barad is a resident of Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. Akhtar’s father Mohammad Jamil Akhtar works as a marble and tile layer. Jalandhar police also went to Zeeshan’s house, but neither his father nor his brother was found there. Yasin’s house was locked. Zeeshan’s mother and sister have died.
Let us tell you that on Saturday night, three people attacked NCP leader Baba Siddiqui (66) in Kher Nagar of Bandra area of Mumbai. The attackers fired bullets at Siddiqui. The incident took place outside the office of his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqui. He was immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Mumbai Police has arrested two of the alleged attackers. Haryana resident Gurmail Baljit Singh and Uttar Pradesh resident Dharamraj Rajesh Kashyap have been arrested. The third accused was arrested by the police on Monday. Apart from this, Mumbai Police is also looking for Zeeshan Akhtar. Jalandhar Police is also looking for Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar.
