19-year-old Nishan Singh, a resident of Chakkeki village in Kapurthala, who reached Amritsar late night after being deported from America, made big revelations on reaching home. His family had sent him to America by spending lakhs of rupees. He has now returned to his village Chakkeki in the morning after being deported by America. Nishan Singh was handed over to his heirs at his home under the leadership of Dhilwan police station SHO Manjit Singh.
Nishan Singh told that he had gone to France on 23 June 2022 for a bright future. Later his family negotiated with an agent for Rs 35 lakh to go directly to America from France. After taking a loan on land, selling gold, he gave about Rs 17 lakh in cash to the agent and deposited the rest of the money in different accounts.
On 24 June 2024, he left for America from France. He told that the agent did not arrange a direct flight to America, but took us through the jungle in a donkey and on the way he also demanded money. On the way he was sent sitting on a tanker. On the way in the donkey he got an injury in one of his legs, which the divers did not treat.
Passing through different countries he entered the American camp on 24 January 2025. The situation in the American camp was also bad, he was beaten up there too. The Pakistani translator present in the American camp told him that now he is being sent to India. Nisan Singh’s mother Balwinder Kaur and all the family members demanded the government to help them.
