District police claims to solve the murder within 24 hours.
SSP made sensational revelations in a press conference at the police line.
Wife and lover arrested, third accused absconding, bike and items used in the crime yet to be recovered.

A Kaliyuga wife ruined her own married life to get her Instagram love. Blinded by love, the wife killed her husband with her lover. District police has arrested the wife and her lover, claiming to solve this murder within 24 hours. SSP Gaurav Tura has made many sensational revelations in a press conference held at the police line Kapurthala. District police has produced both the accused in the court and obtained their remand.
SSP told in the press conference that on January 12, Lakhwinder Singh resident of Phulewal police station Sadar Kapurthala was going to duty at night from his village Phulewal. At around 7:30 pm, two unknown youths surrounded him on the road near the cremation ground of village Danwind and attacked him with a sharp object (Khanda) on his head. Due to which Lakhwinder Singh got seriously injured and was admitted to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, Amritsar.
The police of Thana Kotwali registered a case against unknown accused on the statement of the deceased Lakhwinder Singh’s brother Balwinder Singh. According to the SSP, Lakhwinder Singh, who was admitted to Amritsar, died during treatment on November 14. On this, the police added to the crime and intensified the investigation. During the investigation, on the basis of technical evidence, when the police strictly interrogated the deceased’s wife Tamanna, she confessed that she, her lover Kuldeep Kumar alias Ripa and his friend together planned to kill her husband Lakhwinder Singh and as per that plan, she killed her husband by attacking him on the head.
SSP said that about a year ago, Tamanna came in contact with Kuldeep Singh alias Ripa resident 52 Adarsh Nagar Pipalwala Mandir Hoshiarpur through Instagram. After which both of them developed a love relationship and often talked to each other on WhatsApp at night. Both of them wanted to marry each other. When Tamanna’s husband used to go on duty at night in Khalsa Aid Hospital Kapurthala, Tamanna often talked to Ripa in her husband’s absence and wanted to get married to him. On this, Kuldeep Kumar used to say that as long as her husband was alive, the two of them could not get married. On this, both of them made a plan to kill Lakhwinder so that they could get married.
SSP said that Lakhwinder Singh had married Tamanna for the second time. On this, SHO SI Kirpal Singh of Kotwali police station has arrested the accused Tamanna resident of village Phulewal and her lover Kuldeep Kumar resident Hoshiarpur. They have been produced in the court and remand has been obtained.
The SSP said that in this case, apart from the sharp object and the bike used in the murder, the third accused is yet to be arrested. For which the police teams are conducting raids. SP-D Sarabjit Rai, DSP-D Parminder Singh and CIA in-charge Jarnail Singh were present on this occasion.
