Leakage of chlorine gas pipeline in soda factory located in Shahdol-Anuppur border on Saturday evening has created panic in the area. People are running out of their houses. As soon as the information about the panic is received, the administrative officers of Anuppur are reaching the spot and taking the people to the hospital. Due to the leakage of this gas, people are having irritation in their eyes and difficulty in breathing. More than 60 people have faced such problems, who are being treated by keeping them in the nearest health center.

Let us tell you that there has been a leakage in the pipeline of chlorine gas in the soda factory located in Amalai some time ago. People living nearby are suffocating inside their homes. People affected by chlorine gas are being sent to the hospital. So far more than 60 local people have been sent to the hospital. These include elders, old people and children. The number of affected people is increasing. After 8:30 pm on Saturday night, some people living near the soda factory suddenly started feeling suffocated and dizzy inside their homes.

Till then no one had any idea how all this was happening suddenly. After some time, the news spread like fire in the area that there was a leakage in the chlorine gas pipe in the factory. Within no time, dozens of people got affected by this poisonous gas. After which the affected people are being sent to the hospital. At present, there is an atmosphere of chaos there. Relief and rescue work is being done at a fast pace.
