The Tamil Nadu government has officially taken possession of the confiscated properties of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. This action took place on Friday, a day before a Bangalore court ordered the handing over of these properties to the Tamil Nadu government. Earlier these properties were with the Karnataka government.

The properties were kept in the treasury of Karnataka Vidhan Soudha

Till now, the Karnataka government was keeping 27 kg 558 grams of gold jewelry, 1,116 kg of silver and documents related to 1,526 acres of land. All these things were kept safe in the treasury of Karnataka Vidhan Soudha. They were handed over to the Tamil Nadu government in the presence of court and government officials.

Gold crown one of the most special items

During this action between the two states, these confiscated items were fully documented and photographed as per the legal process. A glimpse of former CM Jayalalithaa’s property was seen in these pictures. In which a magnificent gold crown, whose fine workmanship can be seen, was one of the most special items.

The most attractive and important – carved sword

Apart from this, a list of a huge amount of jewelry was prepared in the former Chief Minister’s properties, in which a long row of beautiful jewelery was seen. During this, they were also counted and examined. At the same time, a carved sword was also included in his properties, which is considered very attractive and important.

Many items are with the former CM’s secretary

At the same time, the petitioner in this case, Narasimha Murthy, said, ‘Till now only jewelry and documents have been handed over to the Tamil Nadu government. The remaining 27 items are with Jayalalitha’s secretary Bhaskaran since 1996.’
