An Alabama prisoner convicted of killing a woman in 1991 was executed using nitrogen gas on Thursday. This is the fourth time in America that death penalty was given using nitrogen gas. Demetrius Frazier (52) was convicted of raping and murdering 41-year-old Pauline Brown in 1991. Frazier was declared dead at 6:36 pm on Thursday in South Alabama prison. This was the first execution in Alabama this year and the third in America in 2025, before this, one prisoner each was sentenced to death in Texas on Wednesday and in South Carolina last Friday.
Plane crashes in Sao Paulo
A small plane crashed in Sao Paulo on Friday morning. Two passengers died in it. The fire department said that a piece of the plane hit the bus. This injured the woman riding the bus. At the same time, a bike rider collided with another debris of the bus. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.

A Pakistani court on Thursday acquitted Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shahbaz in an eight-year-old corruption case. A court official said, an anti-corruption court in Lahore acquitted Shahbaz Sharif and former Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz in the Ramzan Sugar Mills corruption case, as the complainant recused himself from the case. It is worth noting that in 2018, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had registered a case against Sharif and Hamza for causing a loss of more than 20 crore Pakistani rupees to the national treasury by misusing the position. Hamza and his younger brother Suleman are the owners of Ramzan Sugar Mill in Punjab province.
