Crooks opened fire on a commission agent going home to Dana Mandi of Nadala town. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed nearby. The total number of people who carried out the incident is said to be 3. They were riding a motorcycle. Injured commission agent Lakhwinder Singh Malli was admitted to a private hospital. Police registered a case of attempt to murder against 3 unknown persons. After this incident, questions have been raised on the working of the police that how the criminals are so emboldened that they escape after committing the crime openly and till now the police has not been able to do anything against them. The incident is related to Subhanpur of Kapurthala.
In a statement given to the police, commission agent’s son Jaswinderjit Singh said that he runs a commission agent shop and farming with his father Lakhwinder Singh Malli. His father’s commission agent shop is in Dana Mandi Nadala. His father was returning home to village Mirzapur on his bike. When he reached a little behind Daljit Farm House situated on Dhilwan Road from Nadala, he found his father lying injured on the road side. When he asked his father about this, he told that 3 unknown persons came on a bike behind his bike and as soon as they came near him, one person shot him. Due to which he got injured and fell on the ground. His father was admitted to a private hospital in Jalandhar. Where he is being treated by doctors. He told that his father was shot by Hardev Singh alias Dwarf etc. or someone else got him shot due to enmity.
At the same time, the top police officer said that on the statement of the commission agent’s son, an FIR has been registered against an accused under various sections in Subhanpur police station and CCTV cameras installed near the incident site are being scanned. In which some bike riders are seen as suspects.
