A Pakistani boat has been found in the flowing Taranah drain near the zero line of the India-Pakistan border. Soldiers of Battalion 121 of Border Security Force (BSF) recovered the boat last night. This boat has reached Pathankot flowing from Pakistan. After taking the boat in its possession, BSF immediately informed the local police station Narnot Jaimal Singh.
As soon as the information about the Pakistani boat was received, there was a stir in the security agencies as well. Since Monday morning, the police and Ghatak commandos searched every inch of the border area of about 3 kilometers, although nothing was found yet. On the other hand, the agencies interrogated the people working in the fields and barns near the drain to get information about the boat.
On Sunday night, terrorists attacked migrant laborers working in the company constructing the Z-turn tunnel in Gagangir area near Sonmarg on the Srinagar-Leh Highway in Ganderbal of J&K state adjoining Pathankot. The terrorists attacked and killed 6 workers including a doctor. There are said to be two terrorists in this attack. But, the surprising thing is that the boat that has come floating from Pakistan also does not have a seating capacity for more than two people. Were the members of the terrorist group that carried out the terrorist attack in J&K looking for an opportunity to infiltrate Pathankot? The security system is also being questioned after the Pakistani boat was found in the border area.
A few days ago, the local people have also seen drone activity in the border area of Pathankot. The police is also running a special secret operation in the area. Now, after the recovery of the boat from the drain flowing on the Indo-Pak border, the vigilance has been increased. SHO of Narnot Jaimal Singh police station Angrez Singh said that on Sunday night, the BSF saw some movement in the drain near the border in the night vision camera and when the BSF jawans reached the spot, a Pakistani boat was found in the Taranah river between village Skol and Dhinda on the India-Pakistan zero line. An investigation campaign has been launched in the surrounding area. At present, no suspicious incident has been reported. However, this area is very sensitive from the security point of view and the boat has also been checked by the bomb disposal squad.
