Instead of trying to resolve a dispute between two groups, the police vehicle blatantly ignored the crime and passed by. By beating a young man from one group to death and uploading the video on social media, the hooligans of one group sent a clear message to the Mehta Police that they have no fear of the law. This is not the first such incident; in the past, several similar cases have been reported that the Mehta Police have remained unsolved. This is why the Mehta Police have always been under scrutiny.
However, there is also talk that this incident was carried out at the behest of a powerful leader of a political party. This leader commands a reputation above all leaders of both the ruling party and the opposition. He wields such influence within the police station and administration that anyone thinks twice before taking legal action against him or his close associates. Consequently, he holds the reins of crime firmly in his hands. The question here is why the ruling party’s machinery has not yet been able to crush him. Sources have also revealed that this diabolical politician has the weak points of all politicians and many old secrets hidden in his hands. Therefore, anyone thinks twice before taking on him.
There is also talk that the position of Inspector of Mehta Police Station is considered highly valuable. It is believed that every SHO is eager to participate in the race to become the head of this police station. There is also talk that the Inspector of this police station is appointed through a lottery system. Only after a lot of money reaches the higher level officials, one gets the post here. It is believed that the police inspector here becomes a millionaire or a crorepati in a few days or months. The strange thing is that till now the vigilance team has not caught any police inspector taking bribe here.
