Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has released a new video spewing venom against India. He claimed that the unrest surrounding the unofficial “Khalistan Referendum” being organized by the banned organization “Sikhs for Justice” on August 16th in Indianapolis, USA, has intensified.
Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, legal counsel for the Sikhs for Justice organization and a terrorist designated by India, claimed that officials from the US FBI have visited referendum stalls in the Greenwood area of Indianapolis and met with members of the Sikh community.
Pannu released the video claiming that the FBI has distributed special awareness materials to the Sikh community to be vigilant against “transnational repression,” i.e., targeted pressure and threats from abroad, and advised them to immediately report any untoward incident or threat to the agency.
Appeal to reach Indianapolis on August 16
Terrorist Pannu has released a video message urging Sikhs living in the US and Canada to gather at Richard G. Lugar Plaza in Indianapolis on Sunday, August 16, to vote in favor of the referendum. Pannu claimed that the US administration and the FBI stand with citizens’ right to expression and security. He alleged that the Indian government is attempting to target Khalistani supporters on foreign soil, but Sikhs have the full support of security agencies.
What is ‘transnational repression’?
Pannu claimed that in the terminology of security agencies and the US Department of Justice, ‘transnational repression’ refers to a situation when a foreign government attempts to intimidate, threaten, monitor, or harm political opponents, citizens, or activists living in another country by going beyond its borders.
It is noteworthy that following the Hardeep Singh Nijjar case and allegations of a plot to assassinate Pannu in the US, US security agencies have been taking special precautions regarding the security of local Sikh activists.
Indian Agencies Keep an Eye on the Anti-India Agenda
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs and intelligence agencies are also keeping a close watch on this unconstitutional referendum being held on foreign soil on August 16th, the day after August 15th. The Indian government has consistently expressed strong objections to foreign governments regarding the separatist activities of the SFJ and these events that challenge India’s sovereignty.
Terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu’s 5 main claims in the video
Call to vote in Indiana on August 16th: Pannu has appealed to Sikh youth and people living in the US and Canada to travel to Indiana (USA) on August 16th (Sunday) by taking vacation or traveling by truck to vote in favor of the ‘Khalistan Referendum’.
FBI claims to have provided legal and security materials
Pannu claims that on Friday, FBI officials personally visited the Gurdwara Sahib and activists campaigning for the referendum. They provided Sikhs with information and awareness materials related to “transnational repression” and “foreign interference.”
Pannu’s definition of “transnational repression”
In his message, Pannu cited the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada and the alleged attempted assassination attempt on him in the United States as “transnational repression” (pressure/attack by the Indian government on foreign soil). He stated that the FBI is educating Sikhs on how to contact the FBI if their families in India or Punjab are in danger.
Boycott of August 15th and mention of 1984
He opposed India’s August 15th (Independence Day), saying that it is not a day of freedom for Sikhs. He also attempted to dedicate the August 16th voting to the girls (Bibi Satnam Kaur and Bibi Waheguru Kaur) who were killed during the 1984 violence.
Inciting Sikhs to Gather Without Fear: Pannu attempted to mislead Sikhs in the US and Canada by telling them that the US administration and the FBI are standing with them, so they need not fear the law or security and should directly go to the polling booths.###USA###UK###CANADA###SFJ-NEWS###PUNJAB###CHANDIGARH###INDIA###AUSTRALIA###GERMANY###IRELAND###SWEDEN###EUROPE###CHINA###HUNGRY###FRANCE###ITLAY###ROME###RUSSIA###UKRAINE###VIETNAM###SINGAPORE###@
