Actor Vicky Kaushal praised Amritsar — enjoyed Punjabi cuisine.

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal and actress Rashmika Mandana reached the famous Golden Temple of Amritsar in Punjab today. Here they bowed their heads and prayed for the success of their upcoming film ‘Chhava’.

During this, Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandana also enjoyed Punjabi cuisine after coming out of the Golden Temple. Vicky is originally from Punjab, so he also praised Amritsar.

He said, ‘Amritsar is my village, my home is Hoshiarpur just around the corner, 2 hours away. Coming to Amritsar is like coming home for me. Be it any film, shooting or the beginning of any good work, I come to Harmandir Sahib. This time too we bowed our heads and prayed. Now let’s see on the 14th.’

Rashmika seen on a wheelchair


Vicky and Rashmika’s film ‘Chhava’ is going to be released in theaters on Valentine’s Day i.e. 14 February. In this, Vicky Kaushal has played the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika has played the role of Maharani Yesubai. Vicky and Rashmika had come to the Golden Temple to pray for the success of this film.

During this time, Rashmika came in a car, but was seen moving in a wheelchair. Actually, last month she got injured in the gym, due to which she was away from the promotion of the film. However, she was seen in some events held in Mumbai. After this, she also reached Amritsar.

Rashmika was seen on a wheelchair inside the Golden Temple, while Vicky Kaushal supported her while descending the stairs. Then both of them bowed their heads, prayed and listened to Kirtan sitting on the banks of the lake. During this, Vicky Kaushal also did the complete parikrama. Whereas, Rashmika could not do the parikrama due to injury in the leg.

Enjoyed Punjabi cuisine


After coming out of the Golden Temple, both the actors enjoyed Punjabi cuisine. They enjoyed parathas, Maa ki dal (urad dal) and paneer at a nearby restaurant. It was here that Vicky expressed his love for Punjab.

In this film, actor Akshay Khanna will be seen in the role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Along with him, actors like Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Pradeep Ram Singh Rawat, Santosh Juvekar, Vineet Kumar Singh, Diana Penty are also in the lead roles.
