An important meeting of farmer leaders with the SP of Ambala was held on Monday regarding the scheduled program of farmers’ march to Delhi on December 6 from Shambhu border on the border of Punjab and Haryana. Pandher said that the meeting was held in a very pleasant atmosphere. The stand of the farmers is clear that the farmers’ groups will march to Delhi from Shambhu border on foot.
During this time, farmers will not block traffic on the way. Wherever they stay at night, efforts will be made to ensure that there is no traffic jam due to farmers. The farmers’ movement will be completely peaceful. There is no proposal to protest in any way in PM Modi’s program to be held in Chandigarh on Tuesday.
Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher has said that he believes that so many problems have arisen in Kisan Andolan 2.0 so far due to misunderstanding with the Delhi and Haryana administration. Now if the administration is assured of a peaceful march to Delhi by the farmers, then it is expected that they will get permission to proceed with tractor-trolleys. Also, Pandher made it clear that the farmers will march to Delhi only through Shambhu border.
The farmers want to set up their protest in Ramlila Maidan, Jantar-Mantar in Delhi, but if the farmers are stopped at Singhu border, they will sit there. Pandher said that the farmers have 12 demands including legal guarantee of MSP, loan waiver, the movement will continue till they are resolved. No matter how long it takes or how many sacrifices have to be made. The farmers are fully prepared for this.
