2 employees of Punjab Police committed a big scandal to take leave. Two head constables of Bathinda Police, who had gone to Punjab Police Academy (PPA) Philaur for inter course, made fake court summons and presented them before the officers to take leave from the academy. When the academy officials checked the summons on the e-court portal, they turned out to be fake. After this, the Commandant cum Deputy Director Outdoor of Philaur PPA has sent Head Constable Amanmolveer Singh and Head Constable Kuldeep Singh, who presented the fake summons, back to their home district Bathinda. A letter has also been issued in this regard.

According to sources, it was written in the letter that as per the report of Army Clerk Outdoor PPA received through Commandant cum Deputy Director Outdoor PPA, Head Constable Anmolveer Singh and Head Constable Kuldeep Singh, who came to the academy to do Intermediate School Course, had sought approval from the officers to appear as witnesses in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Bathinda for 4 August 2025 with their application forms. It is written in the said letter that when the summons attached with the application by the said two police personnel were checked on the e-court portal, it was found that the court date of the said summons is not 4 August, but its date is on some other day. It was written in the letter that by doing this, both the police personnel have tried to get approval by presenting summons as witnesses in their name in a wrong and improper manner. Which is primarily a violation of law and government rules.

At the end of the said letter, it was written that keeping in mind the said matter, Head Constable Anmolveer Singh and Head Constable Kuldeep Singh are sent back to their district Bathinda with immediate effect without completing the Intermediate School Course. The said letter has been issued by the DSP administration of the academy. Which has been further issued to the Director General of Police, SSP Bathinda, besides the officials of Phillaur PPA and both the police personnel.

Regarding this matter, Bathinda SSP Amneet Kondal said that departmental inquiry has been started against both the police personnel. Investigation of another case is already going on against Head Constable Kuldeep Singh involved in the said case.
