The family is also praying in the Guru’s house to save the nine-year-old innocent. The child’s treatment is so expensive that the family does not have that much money. Because the child will be given an injection worth Rs 27 crore. The family is now hopeful of others for such a huge amount.
Ishmeet, a nine-year-old child of a soldier family in Jandiala Guru, Amritsar, is suffering from a rare disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Doctors say that he has to be given an injection worth Rs 27 crore. Only then his treatment is possible. The family has requested for help from the people and generous people for treatment. After praying at Sri Akal Takht Sahib in Amritsar, the family left for Mumbai on Wednesday.
He said that after going to Mumbai, he will appeal to the film personalities there for donation and to save the child’s life. So far they have received two crore rupees from generous people, but they still need 25 crore rupees more. After offering prayers at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Ishmeet’s mother Priya Kaur and soldier father Harpreet Singh left for Mumbai with the hope of getting help.
Ishmeet’s mother Priya Kaur and father Harpreet Singh told that when the child was five years old, he was diagnosed with DMD disease. Doctors told them about this disease during the treatment in the Army hospital. They said that this disease affects one in every 10 lakh children. Its treatment is very expensive. We are requesting generous people to help them save the child’s life.
