The police team of Shahkot police station area of Jalandhar has been honored by the Madhya Pradesh Police. Shahkot DSP Omkar Singh Barar said that a total of 9 policemen including station in-charge Balwinder Singh Bhullar are among those who received the honor.
In fact, on June 1, information was received from Jaitpur police station of Madhya Pradesh that a case has been registered against two accused Jagwinder and Veerpal Singh, who are residents of Shahkot, under the Arms Act.
Shahkot police took immediate action and cooperated, due to which Madhya Pradesh Police got important information about the accused. Due to this quick and responsible functioning, Madhya Pradesh police officials honored the Shahkot police team.
Arms smugglers handed over to MP Police
Let us tell you that these accused were arrested under the Arms Act, who had escaped from police custody. When our police party came to know about this, 9 employees together caught the said accused and handed them over to Madhya Pradesh Police.
These employees include Inspector Balwinder Singh Bhullar, ASI Mandeep Singh, ASI Harnek Singh, HC Santokh Singh, Constable Jagdeep Singh, Rajdeep, Manpreet, Jagjit and Bikramjit Singh. Taking further action in this matter, another case was registered at Shahkot police station. Because the police also recovered two weapons. Appreciation letters were distributed to all our policemen by IPS Dharmaraj of Madhya Pradesh cadre.
