Pre-monsoon activity has started in Chandigarh. Monsoon can enter the city in the next 4 to 5 days. Rain can start from June 28 itself. However, this will be light rain, when the monsoon completely enters Chandigarh, after that there will be heavy rain. According to the Chandigarh Meteorological Center, this time more than normal rain is expected. From June 1 till now, only 4.8 mm of rain has occurred, which is 98 percent less than normal.

According to the Chandigarh Meteorological Center, the maximum temperature of the city on Wednesday was recorded at 36.9 degrees Celsius, which was one degree Celsius more than normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius. This was 5 degrees Celsius more than normal. There was only a difference of 5.3 degrees Celsius between day and night temperatures. There was not much difference between day and night temperatures. However, after the rain, there will be a change in it and the minimum temperature along with the maximum will also decrease.
Rain for 3 days from Friday
According to Chandigarh Meteorological Center, the city may be cloudy on Thursday. There may also be drizzle. During this time, the maximum temperature can be recorded at 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature at 32 degrees Celsius. From Friday onwards, there will be rain along with cloudy weather for the next three days. During this time, a drop of four to five degrees Celsius can be seen in the minimum temperature.
