In the case of firing by two groups in Bathinda’s Kalyan Sukha village due to old rivalry, the police has registered a case against about a dozen people of both the groups.
Giving information, DSP Rajesh Kumar said that he reached the spot as soon as he came to know about the firing incident. Both the groups fired bullets at each other on the main road due to old rivalry. Former Sarpanch Kulwinder Singh was injured in this firing and the cars of both the groups were hit by bullets.
The police has registered a case under strict sections against both the groups who fired for endangering the lives of the general public. He said that the injured person is undergoing treatment. Raids have been started to arrest all the people involved in this firing incident.
